The Good Girl Gone Bad’s New Business Endeavor.

It’s official— Rihanna is expanding Fenty Beauty to include skincare. Since the makeup line’s launch back in 2017, it has been regarded as one of the most inclusive beauty brands in the industry with over 40 (yes 40!) shades of foundation, far more than most other cosmetic brands. Now Bad Girl RiRi is venturing out into the realm of skincare with her newly announced enterprise. Here’s everything we know about the line so far.

The official news first appeared in an article from the May 2020 issue of British Vogue, where the singer also graced the publication’s cover looking like the badass beauty we know her to be. Rumors of the skincare line circulated back in spring of 2019 when Rihanna submitted a trademark application to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. The business mogul registered “Fenty Skin” which will include everything from medicated and non-medicated skincare, soap, bodycare and more. If any of these products are like her Pro Kiss’r Lip-Loving Scrubstick (with an almost perfect 5-star rating), we know they’re going to be good.

According to her feature in British Vogue, Rihanna is putting the pressure on herself to achieve the same level of perfection she’s executed with her other business ventures like Savage X Fenty, her inclusive lingerie line, Fenty Maison, her luxury fashion house under LVMH or Fenty Beauty. (Does she ever sleep?) In the article the 32 year-old expands on her pursuit of perfection for Fenty Skincare when she said, “Skincare, it’s the truth. It either works or it doesn’t. There’s nowhere to hide.”
