Luxury fashion brand Rodarte, helmed by powerhouse sibling duo Kate and Laura Mulleavy, has teamed up with peer-to-peer resale website Depop, to relaunch Radarte, the wallet-friendly iteration of their high-end brand.

Radartethe sister of the ethereal fantasy juggernaut renowned for dreamlike, regal masterpieces launched in 2008 in the MET’s gift shop, with a collection of California Casual crewnecks, sweatpants, and sweatshirts. The line quickly found a fan in streetwear fanatic, Rihanna.

12 years later and the brand’s spin-off has resurfaced, this time sold exclusively on Depop, the 15 million user platform (which has become a cultural marker in and of itself) adored by Gens Y and Z. The brand has hopped on the coattails of brands Anna Sui and Dickies, who have previously collaborated with Depop.

Thus far, the collection has already found fans in those who would have been unable to match Rodarte’s colossal price point, as well as those who (most likely) could, including Will Ferrel, Dove Cameron, and Natalie Portman. Amid a rise in demand for loungewear as more people work from home, and the ever-increasing financial strain on the economy and individuals, there’s no better time than now for a couch-friendly, affordable line.
