Supreme and Pat McGrath Bring Beauty to the Hype World with New Collab

Although streetwear brand Supreme is known for its box logo, it’s rapidly gaining notoriety for out-of-the-box partnerships.

In a surprising turn of events, Supreme’s collaboration with the cult horror movie Child’s Play (in which the infamous Chucky Doll will be sold dressed in head-to-toe Supreme) is not the craziest collab the brand has announced this month. On Aug. 17 the brand announced that it will be dipping its toe into the beauty industry by teaming up with Pat McGrath Labs. The product will be the label’s first beauty release ever.

Similarly to Supreme, Pat McGrath Labs releases some of the most sought after products on the market and are known for their exclusivity and brand loyalty. The Supreme x Pat McGrath Labs lipstick, which is a part of the label’s Fall/Winter collection, is inspired by Supreme’s signature red logo.

Hypebeasts should prepare to pucker up, because the lipstick itself is made with McGrath’s high-intensity hyper-pigmented hydrating formula in a bright scarlet-red shade, which was appropriately given the name ‘Supreme.’ The lipstick’s tube combines the classic white and red Supreme logo with Pat McGrath’s gold lip emblem as a clasp. In the name of simplicity, the lipstick is only being sold in the one shade and is available on the Supreme NY website as of Aug. 20.

In the past, the brand has dropped some unexpected accessories and collectors’ items, including branded bricks, Oreos, and ziplock bags. This season is no different. The Fall/Winter collection includes a fishbowl, a folding chair, and a Supreme x Colgate cavity prevention toothpaste that comes with a classically shaped Colgate tube with a printed Supreme Box logo on top.
